Considering the printed newspaper product, usually half of it was advertising, a special form of news. It can be done in a similar fashion with an Internet online version and overcome advantages radio and television used to split advertising budgets over the last decades.
Don Nixon used to encourage each employee to meet two people each day. Names (and pictures) in the news were the meat and potatoes for readers and subscribers.
Providing local, reliable package of local social and business news can be accomplished but in a different form but the underlying platform is people, high school activities or local church bazaars.

WHO WE ARE
iDink Wear was started by Lynda Ross and Susan Neeley. The company grew recognition at tournaments with Lynda and Susan leading the way with their love of Pickleball. In 2021, Linda Naylor joined the group as majority owner and together we will continue to grow the brand throughout the wonderful Pickleball community. In 2021, we opened our first iDink Sports Boutique in Greenwood, SC. With overwhelming community support, we are looking forward to opening several more store fronts, sponsoring tournaments, and directing our own tournaments to continue growing the Pickleball community. For the Love of Pickleball is truly why we do it.

In 1984 PROLITE Sports was born and an industry was turned upside down.
And so began the production of the very first composite pickleball paddle. The paddle was the first of its kind – an innovation that revolutionized the sport of pickleball and the industry. While our original company name has changed from the ULTRA-LITE Paddle Co. to PROLITE Sports, the steadfast commitment to building innovative products made from the finest materials around has remained the same.
PROLITE is a family owned business, led by President and CEO, Neil Friedenberg – himself a 5.0 player. Pickleball paddles and other products are manufactured along the scenic shores of Lake Michigan in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. A strong dedication to the sport and a solid Midwestern work ethic were founding principles that continue to drive our growth forward.
At PROLITE, our goals are clear; produce high performance paddles geared for a variety of player types, made from the most advanced, highly durable structural components available, supported by stellar customer service, and backed with a solid warranty. PROLITE never backs down from being different. In fact, we embrace it. The “Be a leader, not a follower” mentality is embedded in every ounce of our identity and it shows in the distinct feel and look of our PROLITE line of products starting with pickleball paddles.

WHERE IS MARGARITAVILLE?
It's in the tropics somewhere between the Port of Indecision and Southwest of Disorder, but no parallels of latitude or longitude mark the spot exactly. You don't have to be a navigator to get there. Palm trees provide the camouflage, ocean breezes bring the seaplanes and sailboats, tourists and travelers. Passports are not required. Island music rules. No waiting lines for anything.
There is a beach and a thatched roof bar perched on the edge of the turquoise sea where you can always find a bar stool. There are lots of lies and loads of stories. It's a comical concoction that blends together like tequila, salt, and limes.
