Creative Thinking, Inc., founded 1972, inspired to experiment and develop new ways to add content and revenue sources for various publications, including Nixon Newspapers and special events.

Mr. Nixon, third generation of family newspaper business founded by Don M. Nixon's Spectator in 1904 at Terre Haute IN. The newspaper company was sold to Paxton Media in 1998.

Nixon began his career answering telephones to report Indiana High School basketball tournament scores in 1952 at the Peru Daily Tribune, then later, after moving to Wabash, graduated to carrier, printer's devil, controller, secretary and treasurer, and publisher at the Auburn Evening Star, Wabash Plain Dealer, Pulaski County Journal, Culver Citizen, Indiana Racquet Sports and Portrait.

Nixon helped pioneer the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Labor Day weekend auction to restore the dilapidated factory and showroom building in Auburn.

He also refurbished a vacant Wabash Street hill building to be a racquetball court. Historical site of the Honeywell Plumbing and Heating Company.

Developed the Indiana State Racquetball Association and tournament trail for competitions.
